DFA temporarily closes some offices, passport services sites due to COVID-19 cases


The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Monday said the operations of its Office of Consular Affairs (OCA), Consular Offices (COs) and Temporary Off-Site Passport Services (TOPS) sites will be temporarily suspended due to the rise of COVID-19 cases among personnel.

The temporary suspension of operations will be from January 10 to 20, 2022.

During the said period, no passport or Apostille applications will be processed or released, the DFA said.

Operations will resume on January 21, 2022.

For inquiries, applicants may contact the Consular Office where application was filed.

The following offices will be temporarily closed from January 10 to 20:

  • CO La Union
  • CO NCR East
  • CO NCR North
  • TOPS Robinsons Novaliches

 

Meanwhile, the following offices will be temporarily closed from January 12 to 20:

  • DFA Office of Consular Affairs in Aseana Business Park, Paranaque City
  • CO NCR Central
  • CO NCR Northeast
  • CO NCR South
  • CO NCR West
  • CO Antipolo
  • CO Angeles
  • CO Baguio
  • CO Dasmarinas
  • CO Iloilo
  • CO Lucena
  • CO Malolos
  • CO San Pablo
  • TOPS Newport Mall
  • TOPS Robinsons Las Pinas
  • TOPS Robinsons San Pedro Laguna
  • TOPS SM Manila

 

Passport and Apostille applicants with schedules at affected offices and sites during the period of temporary suspension of operations may refer to the new schedules posted on the DFA website.

Those with urgent and emergency concerns were advised to contact the DFA offices. —KG, GMA News
