OSAA: Pharmally execs yet to locate firm's financial documents

Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corporation executives Linconn Ong and Mohit Dargani have yet to locate the boxes containing the documents related to the firm’s financial statements, the Office of the Sergeant-At-Arms (OSAA) of the Philippine Senate said Saturday.

This revelation came after a Senate order to transfer Ong and Dargani to the Pasay City Jail, said Senate Sergeant-At-Arms retired Major General Rene Samonte.

In a statement, Samonte said Ong and Dargani's transfer to the Pasay City Jail is still on hold after Dargani provided the probable locations of the boxes containing the Pharmally's financial documents.

"Hindi pa sa ngayon, wala pa kasing ibinibigay si Mohit na exact location. Pinapa seguro ko na alam niya pupuntahan at kung ano ang uunahin kasi tatlo sinasabi, office, residence at warehouse," Samonte said in a message.

(Not this time, Mohit is not yet providing the exact location for the boxes. I told him to ensure that he knows where he's going and what to prioritize because he is mentioning three locations, office, residence and warehouse.)

The Senate blue ribbon committee on Friday ordered the transfer of Ong, Pharmally Pharmaceutical Corporation’s director, and Dargani, corporate secretary and treasurer, from the Senate premises to Pasay City Jail.

The officials failed to provide the committee the location of the boxes containing the documents related to the firm’s financial statements.

After the motion was approved, Dargani tried to appeal to the Senate blue ribbon chairman Richard Gordon if he could physically look for the boxes of documents and if he could convene with Ong in a private setting.

Gordon granted his request to talk with Ong, but warned Dargani that if the boxes were not brought to the Senate, there is a standing order for them to be transferred to the Pasay City Jail. —LBG, GMA News
