PSG: Duterte not exposed to COVID-positive Sara

It's business as usual for President Rodrigo Duterte as he was not exposed to his daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, who has tested positive for COVID-19, the Presidential Security Group (PSG) said Monday.

"The President was never exposed," PSG Commander Col. Randolph Cabangbang said in a statement.

Sara Duterte tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday. Her camp has since requested privacy as she recovers from the virus.

The President was last seen in public last Friday, October 8, when he accompanied the administration's Senate bets for the 2022 elections in filing their certificates of candidacy at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila in Pasay city.  —Llanesca T. Panti/KBK, GMA News
