PFP endorses Bongbong Marcos as their presidential candidate for Eleksyon 2022

The Partido Federal ng Pilipinas on Saturday endorsed Former Senator Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. as the party’s presidential candidate for Eleksyon 2022.

According to a report on “24 Oras Weekend,” the endorsement was made during the party's national convention, during which Marcos’ recorded message was played.

“The resolution endorsing [former] Senator Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos Jr. to be the PFP’s presidential candidate in the May 9, 2022 national election has been moved and duly seconded,” the party said.

“There being no objection, the resolution is approved,” it added.

Marcos lost the 2016 vice presidential race to then-Camarines Sur Representative Leni Robredo by 263,473 votes.

He filed an election protest against Robredo before the Supreme Court over this. It was later unanimously dismissed for lack of merit.  — DVM, GMA News
