COVID-19 quarantine classifications in the Philippines for first half of August

Malacañang on Friday announced quarantine classifications for various areas in the country for the first half of August, taking into consideration the threat posed by the Delta coronavirus variant.

The list is as follows:

Enhanced community quarantine (until August 7)

• Cagayan de Oro and Ginoog cities (Misamis Oriental)
• National Capital Region (August 6-20)

Modified ECQ until August 15

• Ilocos
• Bataan
• Lapu-lapu city
• Mandaue city
• Cebu city, Cebu province (subject to further appeals by their respective LGUs)

General community quarantine (with heightened restrictions until August 15)
