37,800 Sputnik V doses arrive in Philippines
An additional 37,800 doses of the Sputnik V vaccine from Russia arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Saturday evening.
According to GMA reporter Mai Bermudez, the Korean Air flight (KE623) that carried the vaccines landed at the NAIA Terminal 1 at around 9:42 p.m.
The Philippines on Friday night received a total of 132,200 doses of the Sputnik V vaccine.

The first batch of 15,000 Sputnik V vaccine doses arrived on May 1, followed by 15,000 on May 12, 50,000 on May 30, and then 100,000 on June 11.
According to the Department of Health, the country has fully vaccinated 4.5% or 3.2 million of its 70 million target population for COVID-19 jabs.
Meanwhile, the country has reported a total of 1,467,119 COVID-19 cases. Of this 1,391,335 have recovered and 25,816 have died. -MDM, GMA News
