By ANNA FELICIA BAJO, GMA News
The allocation of COVID-19 vaccines for medical personnel in the Philippine National Police (PNP) increased to 1,200 doses, according to PNP Deputy Chief for Administration Police Lieutenant General Guillermo Eleazar.
In a message to reporters late Thursday night, Eleazar said the initial allocation of Sinovac vaccines for health workers in the police force was 800 doses.
"Our allocation was adjusted to 1,200 PNP healthcare workers," Eleazar said.
Eleazar said there is no advice yet if PNP health frontliners would be given AstraZeneca vaccines, the second COVID-19 vaccines that arrived in the country.
As of Thursday, Eleazar said 885 PNP medical personnel were already inoculated. — RSJ, GMA News
