PNP personnel with COVID-19 exceeds 11,000

The number of Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel who tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) rose to 11,015 on Saturday after the agency reported 22 new cases.

According to the PNP, 25 more personnel also recovered from the illness, bringing the total to 10,562, while the death toll remained at 31.

At present, there are 422 active cases within the police force.

The Philippines reported a total of 559,288 cases, of which 513,120 have recovered and 12,068 have died.  — DVM, GMA News
