GMA Kapuso Foundation gives gift packs to 2,500 students in Aurora
Thousands of students in Aurora who were hit by the onslaught of Typhoon Ulysses last year received gift packs from the GMA Kapuso Foundation.
According to a “24 Oras” report on Wednesday, gift packs were distributed to 2,500 students from 14 schools as part of the “Give a Gift” project.
“Bagamat po tayo ay nasa panahon ng pandemya ay malaki po ang pasasalamat namin dahil sinikap pa po ninyo kaming puntahan,” teacher Rizalina Supsup-Beriso said.
In 2005, GMA Kapuso Foundation established a new building for students in the area to facilitate their education.
“Kung hindi po nakapagpatayo po ‘yung GMA Kapuso noon, baka po ang layo no’ng magiging school namin,” said MaryJane Dela Cruz, one of the students who benefited from the project.—Julia Mari Ornedo/LDF, GMA News
