PNP-IAS recommends dismissal vs. cop accused of harassing Nova Parojinog
The Philippine National Police - Internal Affairs Service has recommended the dismissal from service of Police Lieutenant Colonel Jigger Noceda, who was accused of sexually harassing Nova Princess Parojinog.
IAS chief Inspector General Alfegar Triambulo confirmed this to GMA News Online on Wednesday.
Triambulo said Noceda, former chief of the PNP Custodial Service Unit, was found guilty of two counts of grave misconduct, one for act of lasciviousness and one for rape by sexual assault.
Triambulo said the recommendation was already submitted to PNP chief Police General Debold Sinas.
Noceda has been accused of sexually assaulting Parojinog, daughter of slain Ozamiz City mayor Reynaldo Parojinog Sr.
He has been relieved and in restrictive custody of the PNP Headquarters Support Service.
