Lucio Tan’s wife Letty passes away at 77

The wife of tycoon Lucio Tan, Lucia “Letty” Gonzalez-Tan, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020.

She was 77.

In a statement, the Tan family said Letty “lost her battle to a lingering illness.”

The Tan family requested their relatives and friends to offer prayers for their mother.

Letty’s family said she was “a jolly and doting mother and grandmother.”

She leaves behind her spouse, and children Michael and Angeline, Sharon and Edgard, John and Nancy, Cherry and Alfred, Timmy and Christine and her beloved grandchildren.

She was also known in social circles as the taipan's warm, friendly, and affable spouse, according to the Tan family.

"Our Mom will always be remembered for her kindness and big heart. We will all miss her. May the Lord God bless her soul as she joins Him in heaven," her children said.

Letty’s wake will be at Chapel 3 of Heritage Park Memorial Chapel in Taguig City from September 2 to 7, 2020, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The interment will be on September 8, 11 a.m. also at Chapel 3 of Heritage Park.—Ted Cordero/AOL, GMA News
