How to get treated for COVID-19 through the One Hospital Command Center
The government launched on Thursday the One Hospital Command system which aims to improve the country’s referral system and interoperability of public and private health care facilities catering to COVID-19 patients.
According to Mark Salazar’s report on “24 Oras” on Friday, the center, which is open 24/7, can be contacted by anyone needing help for COVID-19 such as testing, isolation and admission in hospitals.
“Ito pong One Hospital Command, kasama na po dito ang transport. We have ambulances, we have a hotline, we have an operation center and aside from this referral patients, marami pa hong puwedeng magawa tulad ng datos at platform na puwede siyang ipalabas sa public because we will have a dashboard as well,” Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said.

Individuals may reach the center’s staff through 0919 977 3333, 0915 777 7777 or (02) 886 505 00.
They can also download the PureForce Citizens application.
What happens during the call?
The staff will forward the individual’s concern to a medical professional or coordinator who will then check which isolation facility or hospital can accommodate him or her.
Asymptomatic patients will likely be referred to quarantine facilities, while mild cases will be brought to temporary treatment facilities.
Meanwhile, severe patients will be referred to hospitals.
“Mayroon tayong dashboard. Makikita natin ‘yong current status ng mga publiko at pribadong ospital. Malalaman po natin ‘yong sitwasyon ng mga wards, emergency rooms, mga (intensive care units) at tsaka po ‘yong mga regular rooms,” Metropolitan Manila Development Authority spokesperson Celine Pialago said.
Based on the One Hospital Command Center’s data as of 12 p.m. on Friday, ICU beds of hospitals in Metro Manila are now at 72% capacity, while isolation beds are at 75%.
Critical beds, on the other hand, are at 78% capacity, while severe beds are at 79%.
Hospital wards are at 86% bed capacity.
