NBI invites for questioning Bong Go critic
The National Bureau of Investigation has invited a student who allegedly shared online a post criticizing Senator Bong Go.
According to Carlo Mateo's report on Super Radyo dzBB, the student was asked to explain and his camp has complied with the NBI's order.
The student has declined to issue a statement to the media as well as to give details regarding the complaint.
The Cybercrime Division of the NBI said that it would be premature to release details on the complaint as they have just started the investigation.
In a statement, Go said he didn't know the college student and the questioned post as reported in the media.
He, however, said that he had written the NBI letters requesting its investigation on social media posts that he said could fall under possible violations of the Cybercrime law, particularly libel, and other applicable laws.
Go said those who would be found liable should be held to account.
Pero kung mapatunayang may nilabag silang batas, panagutan dapat nila," Go said.
-Joahna Lei Casilao/NB, GMA News
