Duterte ‘fit and healthy,’ won’t take another COVID-19 test —Panelo

President Rodrigo Duterte will not take another test for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) because he is “fit and healthy,” his spokesperson Salvador Panelo said Monday.

“President Duterte remains fit and healthy,” Panelo said. "No need for a second COVID test. He does not have any symptoms of colds, cough, fever, sore throat or shortness of breath.”

Panelo also said Duterte was not exposed to Interior Secretary Eduardo Año who announced last week that he had contracted the disease.

Duterte placed himself under quarantine which will end on Tuesday. He earlier tested negative for COVID-19.

The President is currently staying at the Bahay Pagbabago inside the Malacañang Complex. —LDF, GMA News
