QC court's 761-page decision convicting Andal Jr, other Ampatuans over Maguindanao massacre

After 10 years of hearing witnesses and accused, and poring over volumes upon volumes of court records, documentary evidence, and transcriptions, Quezon City Judge Jocelyn Solis-Reyes of the Regional Trial Court Branch 221 has finally come up with a beyond-the-usual, 761-page long decision on the Maguindanao multiple murder case.

The length of the ruling is, for the most part, due to the sheer number both of the victims and defendants involved: 58 informations for the 58 people killed, lodged against almost 200 suspects.
