3,285 examinees pass licensure exam for electrical engineers

The Professional Regulation Commission on Friday announced that 3,285 out of 4,891 examinees passed the licensure examination for registered electrical engineers given in August 2019.

A total of 2,634 out of 4,424 examinees, meanwhile, successfully hurdled the licensure examination for registered master electricians given earlier this month.

The examinations were given in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban and Zamboanga by the Board of Electrical Engineering.

Successful passers may register for the issuance of their PRC card from Sept. 26 to Oct. 9 online on the PRC website www.prc.gov.ph.

The PRC will announced later on details of the oathtaking ceremony of the successful passers. —KG, GMA News
