Duterte meets Misuari for third time this year
President Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday met with Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) founding chairman Nur Misuari for the third time this year in Malacañang.
Apart from Duterte, also present at the meeting as shown in photos released by Malacañang were Senator Christopher “Bong” Go, Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process Carlito Galvez Jr. and Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol, who is being eyed by the President as his “point man” in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
But details of the meeting, which was not on the official schedule provided by the Palace to the media, have yet to be released by Duterte’s office.
Duterte and Misuari previously met in Malacañang on February 25 and March 19.
