Newbie senators Bong Go, Imee, Bato, Tolentino attend Senate orientation
Neophyte senators and their staff attended Tuesday morning the briefing and orientation prepared for them by the Senate Secretariat.
Senator-elect Francis Tolentino arrived at the Senate an hour before the 10 a.m. schedule. Senator-elect Ronald dela Rosa came at 9:45 a.m.
Senator-elect Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go said he feels like going to school when asked how he feels before he entered the briefing room.
“Para akong pumapasok sa eskwelahan,” he told reporters.

Senator-elect Imee Marcos arrived around 10 a.m.
The closed-door orientation was led by Senate Secretary Myra Marie Villarica.
The new senators were given a briefing on legislation process, finance, and security.
Other officers of the Senate also gave a presentation or overview of the work of their respective departments. — RSJ, GMA News
