Tordesillas to Panelo: Show proof of destab efforts, not silly diagrams

Vera Files President Ellen Tordesillas on Wednesday challenged presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo to present evidence to the supposed destabilization efforts against the administration.

"I deny allegations by Presidential Spokesperson Salvador Panelo linking me to any imagined destabilization efforts against the administration. I challenge him to present evidence, not just silly diagrams," she said in a Facebook post.

Tordesillas denied the allegations anew after Malacañang bared an alleged plot by the former ruling Liberal Party, administration critics, the Magdalo party-list and some media outlets to discredit President Rodrigo Duterte.

Panelo had presented to the media a matrix showing a supposed conspiracy against the President.

Named in the matrix were personalities from the Vera Files, as well as the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism, National Union of Peoples' Lawyers, Rappler, and lawmakers Neri Colmenares, and Carlos Zarate.

Panelo claimed of a “very active online collaboration” between Vera Files president Ellen Tordesillas, Aquino administration spokesperson Edwin Lacierda, Cocoy Dayao, Communist Party of the Philippines founding chairman Jose Maria Sison, Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, Rodel Jayme, Bong Banal, Arman Pontejos, and other Liberal Party groups and supporters. —Jessica Bartolome/LBG, GMA News
