Suspended LTFRB executive director denies accepting P4 million bribe
Suspended Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) executive director Samuel Jardin has denied that he received P4 million as a bribe, calling his complainant's accusations "malicious, baseless and unfounded."
In his reply to the Department of Transportation, Jardin denied the accusations by complainant Michelle Sapangila that he divided the money with LTFRB Chairman Martin Delgra III, according to a 24 Oras report on Friday.
Jardin said he did not receive any money from Sapangila, and he and Delgra did not talk about it.
Jardin is planning to file a suit against the complainant.
Jardin requested for a formal hearing to be able to face Sapangila and to revoke his 90-day suspension.
Delgra also denied the allegations. —Jamil Santos/LDF, GMA News
