Duterte's son, daughter post birthday wish for good health

Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte and her brother, former Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, turned to social media to post a birthday greeting for their father, President Rodrigo Duterte.

Paolo expressed his gratitude for the time given by his father despite the latter's hectic schedule.

President Duterte, who turns 74 on Thursday, plans to stay in his hometown in Davao City with his family and to also spend time sleeping.

Paolo assured that he and his sister, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, will be the ones who will face their father's detractors.

"Hinaot nga kanunay ka nga anaa sa maayong panglawas aron sab nga makapadayon ka sa pagserbisyo sa katawhan. [May you always have good health so that you may continue your service for the people]," he added.

Sara Duterte, meanwhile, wished her father good health and happiness.

“A lecture on responsible gadget use by Lolo Digong. #HappyBirthdayPRD! I wish you good health and happiness!” she said in an Instagram post which was accompanied by a photo of the President spending time with her son.
