Arnell Ignacio resigns as OWWA deputy administrator

Arnell Ignacio said he has resigned as deputy administrator of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration.

Ignacio confirmed the news himself to GMA News.

However, he declined to give the reason for his resignation.

Ignacio added that he will just hold a press conference soon.

He also said he will still finish some things, and added that OWWA has become dear to him.

Before he became OWWA deputy administrator, Ignacio was assistant vice president for community relations and services at the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation. 

Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III has not issued a statement yet on Ignacio's resignation. —JP Soriano/KG, GMA News
