Shabu in wafer cans from US, seized at Clark port


The Bureau of Customs earlier this week seized P12 million worth shabu that arrrived from the United States in via cans of imported cream wafers.

The confiscation also led to the arrest of one suspect.

The shipment of 1.8 kilos of methamphethamine hydrochloride in four cans were confiscated at the Port of Clark on January 22.

The seized prohibited drugs were turned over to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency on Thursday for the joint operations on January 25 that led to the arrest of the suspect.

The BOC at the Port of Clark has seized a total P153 million worth of prohibited drugs under Customs Commissioner Rey Leonardo Guerrero. —NB, GMA News
