CIDG files admin complaint vs. Daraga mayor Baldo

The Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (PNP-CIDG) has filed an administrative case against Daraga Mayor Carlwyn Baldo before the Office of the Ombudsman in connection with the killing of Ako Bicol party-list Representative Rodel Batocabe.

Authorities earlier tagged Baldo as the mastermind behind the murder of Batocabe, who was about to run against him in the Daraga mayoral race this coming midterm elections.

They also slapped Baldo with murder and frustrated murder charges for the killing of Batocabe and his aide, Senior Police Officer Orlando Diaz, and the wounding of seven others last December.
