Draft federal charter approved by House of Representatives

The House of Representatives on Tuesday approved on second reading Resolution of Both Houses 15, a measure seeking to pave the way for the creation of federal states in the country.

This proposed Charter amendments to the 31-year-old 1987 Constitution also seeks the term limits for the members of the House and the Senate.

Speaker Gloria Arroyo of Pampanga said the following proposed text  will be up for third and final reading next week.
