NAIA Terminal 1 still crowded but easing up, hours after runway reopening
The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 1 remained crowded Saturday aftermoon, hours after the reopening of the runway earlier closed when a Xiamen airplane skidded off the runway.
In a tweet, GMA News' Dano Tingcungco said said the volume of stranded passengers at the NAIA Terminal 1 was "easing up a bit."

Tingcungco also quoted the Manila International Airport Authority as saying that flight operations are seen to normalize in a few days.
Meanwhile, Philippine Airlines announced that 42 ticketing offices across the country would be opened on Sunday (August 19) to assist passengers who were affected by the NAIA-runway closure. — MDM, GMA News
