Duterte renews firearms license

President Rodrigo Duterte on Tuesday processed the renewal of his firearms license.

Photos released by Malacañang showed Duterte apparently filling out a document and having his biometrics taken inside the presidential palace.

His top aide, Christopher "Bong" Go, said the President "complied" with the requirements for the gun permit including clearance from the National Bureau of Investigation, drug test, and neuro-psychiatric exam.

Go said he has no idea how many firearms are covered by the application which will be vetted by the Philippine National Police.
