Duterte’s ex-wife Elizabeth Zimmerman to attend his 3rd SONA for moral support — Sara Duterte

President Rodrigo Duterte's former wife Elizabeth Zimmerman is planning to attend this Monday's State of the Nation Address (SONA) for the first time, Mayor Sara Duterte said.

A report by GMA News' Marisol Abdurahaman on 24Oras on Thursday night said  Zimmerman expressed intent to give moral support to Duterte.

"She expressed her intent to attend to give moral support to the President," Sara said.

Sara and her mother will be wearing Filipiniana ternos created by a Cebu-based designer.

"Make it simple pero long pa rin yung dress. Last time sabi niya blue pero sabi niya I can also wear green," Sara said.

She also had barongs made for her brothers Paolo and Baste, although they haven't confirmed their attendance.

"Good luck," Sara said. "We will be there to support the President. We'll be there to support you."

The report added that according to Special Assistant to the President Bong Go, Duterte's common-law wife Honeylet Avanceña and their daughter Kitty Duterte will be attending the event. — Jessica Bartolome/RSJ, GMA News
