Mocha Uson's SALN: -P553k net worth, no cash assets

Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson's liabilities exceeded her assets last year, making her the only official in the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) with a negative net worth.

Uson, a former lead singer of a sexy dance group and a blogger, declared a negative net worth of P553,044.40 as of December 31 last year, based on her statement of assets liabilities, and net worth (SALN) obtained by GMA News Research.

Specifically, Uson declared P3.65 million in assets and P4.205 million in liabilities.

She listed two condominium units in Mandaluyong City and Sta. Cruz, Manila as real properties while her personal properties include cellphones, a Macbook Air, an iPad, headphones, eyewear, jewelry and 10 pairs of rubber shoes.

Uson did not declare any cash assets.

Her liabilities stemmed from loans with BPI Family Bank and PSBank. It appears that Uson used the money to buy condominium units since she indicated "Celadon Condo" and "Avida Centera" under the nature of liabilities.

Communications Secretary Martin Andanar is the richest among 12 officials of the PCOO.

Andanar declared a net worth of P158.82 million last year. Next to Andanar are PCOO Undersecretary George Apacible (P48.41 million), Assistant Secretary Ramon Cualoping III (P6.30 million), Assistant Secretary Ana Marie Banaag (P4.43 million), and Assistant Secretary Florentino Loyola Jr. (P4.17 million).

Completing the list are Undersecretary Feducia Mia Reyes-Lucas (P3.55 million), Assistant Secretary Rachel Queenie Rodulfo (P3.4 million),  Undersecretary Marvin Gatpayat (P3.099 million), Undersecretary Lorraine Marie Badoy (P2.556 million), Assistant Secretary Joseph Lawrence Garcia (P2.32 million), Assistant Secretary Michel Kristian Ablan (P1.802 million), and Uson (-P553,044.40).
