PNPA topnotcher to receive house and lot from gov’t


SILANG, Cavite — The topnotcher of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) “Maragtas” Class of 2018 will be receiving a house and lot in Bacolod City from the government.

President Rodrigo Duterte awarded the certificate of ownership to class valedictorian, Police Cadet Fritz John Napalinga Vallador during the 39th Commencement Exercises of the PNPA Maragtas Class of 2018.

The 24-year-old Vallador, who is from Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, also received the Presidential Kampilan Award and a plaque of merit for finishing at the top of his class.

The 106 cadets of the PNPA were conferred with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Public Safety.

Police Cadet Francis Pang-ay Fagkang, 24, who is from Sacasacan, Sadanga, Mt. Province, graduated second. He received the Vice Presidential Kampilan Award and a plaque of merit from Vice President Leni Robredo.

Third in the class is Police Cadet Jess Torres Agustin, who is from Anchokey, Kabayan, Benguet. He received the Secretary of the Interior and Local Government Kampilan Award and a plaque of merit.

The other cadets who are in the top 10 are the following:

• Police Cadet Jesstony Fabro Asanion from Brgy Bulawon, Sta Cruz, Zambales (4th);

• Fire Cadet Myrick Aquino Paldingan from Mankayan, Benguet (5th);

• Police Cadet Christian Villacarlos Juego from Brgy Salawag, Dasmariñas, Cavite (6th);

• Police Cadet Cherry Mae Lumogda Montaño from Brgy Fatima, General Santos City (7th);

• Police Cadet Stephen Torrevillas Abrica from Basak, San Nicolas, Cebu City (8th);

• Jail Cadet Arjay Marcaida Cuasay from Brgy Marcelo, Parañaque City (9th); and

• Police Cadet Maricar Sison Ansus from Brgy Salvacion, Bacon, Sorsogon City (10th).

The Philippine Military Academy's Alab Tala Class of 2018 valedictorian also received a house and lot unit in Iloilo City during the graduation rites last Sunday.
