US Embassy to remain open despite US gov’t shutdown
The Embassy of the United States of America in Manila will remain open moving forward, despite a government shutdown brought about by a stand-off on immigration funding among US legislators.
According to a report on GMA News' "News TV Live" on Sunday, the US Embassy will continue with its routine emergency, consular social security, US citizenship, and immigration services.
Scheduled appointments with the Embassy will also push through, the report said.
