Ejercito, Trillanes ‘mock’ each other over Paolo Duterte’s tattoo
Senators JV Ejercito and Antonio Trillanes IV took to social media to "mock" each other over the controversial tattoo of Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo "Pulong" Duterte.
On Thursday, Ejercito posted on his Instagram a photo displaying his tattoo on his right arm.
“Tattoo ang gusto makita ng isa kung kasama, ito sa akin di na aalis! Does this make me a Magdalo? O Pulang Lupa? Hindi po! Magdiwang po ako!” Ejercito posted.
The photo was shared amid the ongoing Senate blue ribbon committee probe on the smuggling of the P6.4-billion shabu Thursday. In attendance were Paolo Duterte and his brother-in-law, lawyer Manases Carpio.
During the committee hearing, Trillanes said he received information from a “foreign country” that Paolo, son of President Rodrigo Duterte, is a member of a drug triad.
He said the triad operates in countries such as China, Hong Kong, and Macau, and is engaged in various illegal activities, including the importation of illegal drugs.
According to Trillanes, the membership of Paolo in a triad could be proven by a colored, dragon-like tattoo on his back.
While Paolo admitted that he had a tattoo on his back, he did not answer any questions regarding its appearance as he invoked his right to privacy.
The vice mayor refused to show his back, telling Trillanes “no way.”
In separate posts on Instagram and Twitter, Trillanes said he was not interested in his colleague’s post.
“Sen. JV, pasensya na pero hindi kami interesado sa tattoo mo. Interesado kami sa tattoo ni Polong. Relax ka na lang muna dyan,” Trillanes said.
On Twitter, Ejercito answered back at Trillanes with another post: “Sen. Sonny Trillanes, chillax lang pre! Pinost ko yung tattoo ko para magpalamig konti sa mainit at tensyonadong sitwasyon!”

Trillanes replied to Ejercito’s post, saying: “Haha! Okay, get well soon.”
“Salamat Pare!” Ejercito said.
Last July, Ejercito called for a Senate ethics committee probe on the supposed damaging actions of Trillanes who labeled his colleagues as “cowards” and “puppets” of the Duterte administration.
Ejercito said then that Trillanes should “stop destroying this institution simply because he is rabidly against this administration.” — GMA News
