Sara Duterte taunts Trillanes, posts ‘triad tattoo’

Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio on Thursday posted a photo of a supposed triad tattoo, after Senator Antonio Trillanes IV linked her brother, Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, to the international crime syndicate.

"Trillanes and USDea (Drug Enforcement Agency). Paki Decode. Please. By the way, thank you Edwin Miraflores for the triad tattoo," the mayor said on her Facebook post.

During Thursday's Senate hearing on the P6.4 billion worth of shabu that was smuggled into the country from China, Trillanes said Paolo may be a member of the triad which he said could be proven by a colored, dragon-like tattoo on his back.

"That's the membership of triads. I am not making any baseless allegations here," Trillanes said, adding the information came from "a foreign country."

Paolo, whom Trillanes linked to corruption in the Bureau of Customs, admitted that he has a tattoo on his back, but refused to answer questions regarding its appearance. He also refused to show it. —Marlly Rome Bondoc/KBK, GMA News
