Duterte appoints Mans Carpio's brother as Agriculture asec.

President Rodrigo Duterte has appointed Waldo Reyes Carpio, the younger brother of his son-in-law Manases Carpio, as an assistant secretary of the Department of Agriculture.

According to the appointment paper released on Wednesday, the younger Carpio was appointed to the post on September 4.

He replaced DA Asst. Sec. Federico Laciste Jr.

Last year, Duterte had attended Waldo's wedding at San Agustin Church in Intramuros, Manila, serving as a principal sponsor along with Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales, aunt of the Carpio brothers.
