The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday released the result of the paraffin test conducted on Carl Angelo Arnaiz, the 19-year-old student who initially went missing before being found dead at a funeral parlor in Caloocan City.

Police said the 19-year-old fought it out to evade arrest after allegedly robbing taxi driver Tomas Bagcal on C3 Road in Caloocan City, an allegation that the Public Attorney's Office refuted with the results of its forensic examination of the teenager's remains.
The PAO's forensic analysis indicated that Arnaiz was tortured before he was killed as his wrists were swollen and bore handcuff marks. His eyes were also bruised and puffy and his body bore cuts and scratches.
He also appeared to have been kneeling when he was shot in the chest and in the right arm, by someone standing close to him. — with Amita Legaspi/MDM, GMA News
