Imee Marcos attends Duterte's SONA amid arrest threats
Amid threats of arrest, Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos attended President Rodrigo Duterte's second State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday.
"Nandito lang ako para sa SONA," Marcos said in a radio interview. "Nandito lang ako for full support kay Presidente Duterte at para mag-greet lang, maki-chika nang kaunti sa mga natitirang kaibigan."

Marcos was subpoenaed to attend the inquiry of the House committee on good government and public accountability into the supposedly anomalous P66.45-million purchase of motor vehicles using tobacco excise tax shares.
The House panel will resume its inquiry on Tuesday.
"Pinag-iisipan ko pa," Marcos said when asked if she will attend the hearing.
"Hindi ko alam kung anong gagawin, kung makukuyog ako nang todo-todo. Pagbigyan naman kami na magsalita nang kusa at libre," she added.
Marcos, daughter of the late President Ferdinand Marcos Sr., has earlier said that she is willing to participate in the inquiry, but was advised by her supporters to hold it through videoconferencing to avoid being detained. —KBK, GMA News
