DOTr moving to Clark by July

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) will start moving its main operations to Clark by July this year, in a bid to decongest Metro Manila, Transportation Secretary Arthur P. Tugade said Tuesday.

"We will start moving ... July this year, the offices finished or unfinished," Tugade said during the Dutertenomics Forum in Pasay City on Tuesday.

"We should start the first move to decongest Manila of government offices," he added.

The DOTr earlier ordered some flights transferred to the Clark International Airport from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to address traffic around NAIA. — VDS, GMA News
