Riding-in-tandem snatchers nabbed in Tondo, Manila

The riding-in-tandem snatchers who dragged a lady near the Pedro Gil LRT Station in Manila have been arrested in the city's Tondo district.

The suspects were identified as Norman "Chocho" Gaspar and Christopher "Topi" Reyes, according to a report by Mav Gonzales on Balitanghali, Wednesday.

Salvador Iñigo said.

According to the police, the suspects already have records on robbery-snatching incidents and that they have other members involved on this kind of crime.

The video of the incident, which happened on Sunday morning, had gone viral.

The victim suffered deep wounds and bruises following the incident.

The suspects will be facing charges of robbery-snatching and serious physical injuries.

Meanwhile, the police reminded the public to be extra cautious while walking alone in the streets.

— Anna Felicia Bajo/MDM, GMA News
