Honeylet had P200M worth of bank transactions, Trillanes claims
President Rodrigo Duterte’s common-law wife, Cielito “Honeylet” Avanceña had over P200 million worth of bank transactions, Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV's matrix of alleged bank transactions showed.
The document, supposedly culled from bank records, indicated that Avanceña had transactions from 2004 until 2016 through various bank accounts, worth a total of P187,597,085.90.
The senator also alleged that Avanceña received over P10 million from Duterte’s campaign donor, businessman Samuel Uy, in four different instances through a Security Bank account.
She first received P10,655,371.81 on October 25, 2011. She then received P10,655,373.31 in April 23, 2012.
Uy also gave her P10,655,371.81 on October 22, 2012 and on April 10, 2013.
This means that Avanceña had P219,563,202.83 in bank transactions from 2004 to 2016.
Avanceña has been Duterte’s partner for over 20 years.
She used to be a nurse in the United States. She went back in the Philippines in 2004 after giving birth to Veronica “Kitty” Duterte and started to focus on her business ventures in Davao City. —NB, GMA News
