LTFRB reminds PUJ drivers of fare rate adjustments

The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board on Saturday reminded jeepney operators and drivers of the minimum fare rates for regular passengers, students, senior citizens, and persons with disability (PWDs).

In its Twitter page, the LTFRB posted the adjusted fare for public utility jeepneys after it approved a one-peso fare hike, which took effect on Friday.

The minimum fare for regular passengers will be at P8 from the previous price of P7.

Meanwhile, the discounted fares for students, senior citizens, and PWDs will P6.40 from P5.60.
