Route for procession of Black Nazarene replicas Saturday afternoon
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has released the procession route of the replicas of the Black Nazarene on Saturday, January 7, at 2 p.m.
The procession is part of the set of activities for the Feast of the Black Nazarene. The main event, the Traslacion, will be held on Monday, January 9.
The procession will take the following route:
From Plaza Miranda:
- Left to Quezon Boulevard
- Left to Gil Puyat
- Right to Evangelista Street
- Right to Recto Avenue
- Right to Loyola Street
- Right to Bilibid Viejo thru Puyat
- Left to Guzman Street
- Right to Hidalgo Street
- Left to Barbosa Street
- Right to Globo de Oro
- Right to Palanca Street
- Right to Villalobos Street
The MMDA has advised motorists who may be using these roads to take alternate routes:
All vehicles coming from España intending to use Roxas Boulevard/South Pier Zone/Taft Avenue should turn right to P. Campa, straight to Fugoso Street to point of destination;
- All vehicles intending to utilize Quezon Boulevard coming from Andalucia should turn right to Fugoso, left to Rizal Avenue, to point of destination.
- All vehicles utilizing eastbound lane of C.M. Recto coming from Divisoria shall turn right to Rizal Avenue to point of destination.
- All vehicles using S.H. Loyola Street coming from Balic-Balic area going to Quiapo should turn right to C.M. Recto Avenue to point of destination.
