Solon wants LTO to mail delayed driver’s licenses to applicants

Quezon City Rep. Winston Castelo said the Land Transportation Office should be the one to mail to applicants the drivers' licenses it has not released on time, a report on Unang Balita on Monday said.

According to Castelo, who is also the chairman of the House committee on Metro Manila Development, the delay in the release of driver's licenses has caused much inconvenience to motorists who have to return time and again to LTO offices.

The LTO has explained that it could not release the licenses yet since they do not have enough supply of plastic cards.

Castelo, however, said this is not the problem of motorists, but that of LTO. —KG, GMA News
