Duterte’s ex-wife, eldest son arrive in Manila ahead of inauguration

President-elect Rodrigo Duterte’s ex-wife Elizabeth Zimmerman and his eldest son, Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte, arrived in Manila on Tuesday in preparation of the presidential inauguration on June 30.

Zimmerman and Paolo alighted the plane from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal (NAIA) 2 at around 11 a.m.

Interviewed by GMA News, Zimmerman said she is happy and excited for the coming inauguration of Duterte as the 16th Chief Executive of the Philippines. 

Duterte has three children with Zimmerman – Sebastian, Paolo and Davao City Mayor Sara.

Sebastian and Sara are also expected to arrive in Manila Tuesday.
