Duterte is country’s first septuagenarian president and other trivia

With more than 96 percent of the election returns already transmitted in the Commission on Elections' transparency server as of 8:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Rodrigo Duterte continues to lead the presidential race with 15,970,018 votes.

The presumptive president on Monday also started to meet personalities that he would appoint to his Cabinet and even foreign diplomats.

He has even excited the public with pronouncements of his policies ranging from going against cabbies who don't give the correct change, to pursuing peace with the communist insurgents.
