‘Pacquiao has done the Filipino nation proud’ —Palace

Minutes after boxing champ and Sarangani Rep. Manny Pacquiao won over Timothy Bradley in the welterweight bout in Las Vegas on Sunday (PHL time), Malacañang sent a congratulatory message.

"Manny Pacquiao has done the Filipino nation proud again by winning decisively against Timothy Bradley. We applaud and thank him for demonstrating anew that the Filipino has the courage and skill to compete in the global arena," Communications Sec. Herminio Coloma Jr. said in a message sent to reporters.

Pacquiao won by unanimous decision, 116-110, over Bradley.
