DepEd starts early registration for public schools

 

Early registration for students in public schools for school year 2016-2017 began on Saturday morning from kindergarten to high school, Manny Vargas reported on Balitanghali.

 

Vargas reported that the early registration is meant to identify out-of-school youths and ensure the enrolment of five-years-old and above to kindergarten,and children eligible to enroll in Grades 1, 7 and 11.

 

A total of 209 students were the early registrants for Grade 11 while two signed up for Grade 7 at the Quezon City High School, a ratio mirrored in other schools around Quezon City.

 

"Inaasahan naman ayon sa mga guro na madadagdagan pa ang bilang nga mga lalahok sa early registration mamayang hapon," Vargas said.

 

Early registration will go on until February 29. — APG, GMA News
