Manny Pacquiao flies to Indonesia to visit death convict Mary Jane Veloso

Manny Pacquiao and his wife Jinkee went to Indonesia this afternoon for a scheduled meeting with migrant worker Mary Jane Veloso, GMA News has learned.

Veloso, who was convicted of drug trafficking, was initially scheduled for execution in April but was given a reprieve by the Indonesian government.

She, however, remains detained in an Indonesian prison.

It may be recalled that when he was still training for his much-awaited fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr., Pacquiao promised to pay Veloso a visit.
