Full Presentation: PNP Board of Inquiry fact file on Mamasapano clash

The PNP's Board of Inquiry has released its compilation of facts on the Mamasapano incident, in which 44 members of the PNP Special Action Force were killed last January 25. It was presented on Monday at a Senate hearing on the incident

The BOI has been tasked to look into the "tactical level" of the firefight to determine possible operational lapses, as well as potential liabilities on the part of those who led the operations.

As of last week, the board had taken sworn statements from 286 individuals—about two-thirds of its target of 420 people—most of them officers and personnel of the PNP-SAF that took part in the operations.
