LTFRB approves 50c jeepney fare rollback for South Luzon
Commuters in Southern Luzon - Calabarzon and Mimaropa - will feel the benefits of recent fuel price rollbacks after the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board approved a 50-centavo rollback in jeepney fares.
The LTFRB's order for a provisional reduction of jeepney fares meant the minimum fare for the first four kilometers will be down to P8 from P8.50.
However, the added fare for each succeeding kilometer will remain at P1.50.

Senior citizens, students and persons with disabilities will get a 20-percent fare discount.
Calabarzon covers Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon. Mimaropa covers Mindoro Occidental and Oriental, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan. — Joel Locsin/VC, GMA News
