Atty. Karen Jimeno: the stunner on the Corona defense team

After a humdrum first two days, the Corona impeachment trial is shaping up to be compelling courtroom drama. Despite the long-winded argumentation and occasional nose-bleed Latin, viewers will keep watching because of the personalities, who include venerable characters in vigorous new roles (Enrile and Cuevas), a terrified witness (Vidal), an earnest young prosecutor (Tupas), and a stunner of a defense lawyer (Jimeno). Here's video of Atty. Karen Jimeno, a spokesperson of the Corona defense team, on SONA where she matches wits with Cong. Miro Quimbo, spokesperson of the prosecution: As more than a few have observed, Atty. Jimeno is more than a pretty face. One blogger noted about her interaction with the media: "She provides an oasis of decorum and dignity to the jologry that has long been the hallmark of Philippine print and broadcast news." She was recruited to the defense team by Corona defense lawyer Ramon Esguerra, her former UP professor.  Jimeno is a 2005 UP Law graduate who went on to Harvard Law School for her Master of Laws. She just arrived from the United States last September. She had previously worked for the law firm Quisumbing, Torres, Evangelista before she enrolled at Harvard. She got married on January 7, 2012 to Evan McBride, an investment banker from Texas. - GMA News
